Stefanie comes to Illumination Dance with over a decade of teaching experience and 15 plus years of gymnastics background.  She is currently an elementary teacher in the Appoquinimink School  District and prior to that was a school counselor in the Christina School District.  She was a gymnast and a cheerleader up through college. Stefanie has experience as a gymnastics coach at gyms right here in Delaware as well as one in PA when she lived there for a short time.  She worked with ages 3-12 at Gymnastics Unlimited in Dover and ages 7-12 at Diamond Gymnastics in New Castle.  In PA she worked with ages 5-12 at Kidnastics.  Stefanie has also been a Girls on the Run Coach for 3 seasons and has taught fitness classes at Evolve Fitness. 

 

Stefanie and her husband of 12 years live in Middletown with their 2 children, Jaxon and Payton.  Her daughter Payton has been dancing with Illumination Dance since she was 3 years old.
