Waitlist info
First and foremost, we want you to know we will do everything we can to accommodate as many of our waitlist dancers as we possibly can. We can’t make any promises, but class waitlists help us assess the need to add additional classes.
We TRULY appreciate your patience, and wish we had the space and capacity to accept every child and family that desires to be a part of Illumination Dance, but currently we have to have a limit on our class schedules and capacity for several reasons:

Making sure we are providing a quality dance education

Teacher/student ratios

Limitations of current studio space & available days/hours for class

Waitlists are also specific to each season (our School Year season and our Summer session) and to each class. Because our schedule and class offerings change from season to season, being on a waitlist for one class does not automatically carry over into the next season. Registration happens fresh each season, so you’ll need to enroll during that registration window—or, if a class is full, add your dancer to the waitlist for the class(es) you’re interested in for that season.
If you added your child to a class waitlist for the current season - here’s what happens next...
We will be monitoring the waitlist numbers. If we have enough on the waitlist to form a new class we will attempt to do so, per our studio availability. If not, you will remain on the waitlist for that class until a spot would open. There are almost always children that need to change or withdrawal from classes for various reasons once the season starts, so spaces do open up. However, it could be a month or so into the season before this happens. You’ll receive an email notification if a new class is added or if a spot becomes available in an existing class.
