At ID, we currently offer two company program options for dancers who are looking for additional performance opportunities and a deeper level of training and involvement — our Mini Company Program for younger dancers (approximately ages 4–9), which is currently by invitation only, and our Full Company Program for dancers ages 8+ who are ready for a more committed and audition-based experience.

Our ID Company Program is comprised of passionate, hardworking dancers who are committed to growth both in and out of the studio. Company dancers participate in competitions, performances, and additional training opportunities throughout the season while representing our studio with respect, humility, kindness, professionalism, and a positive attitude. We look for dancers who demonstrate dedication, responsibility, strong work ethic, teamwork, coachability, and a genuine hunger to learn and improve.

Our company program is designed for dancers who are ready to be challenged, held accountable, and pushed to grow in a supportive environment. We believe opportunities are earned through effort, resilience, commitment, and personal growth - not entitlement.

 

While high standards are an important part of the program, we also believe it is incredibly important for dancers to maintain their love and joy for dance along the way. Company can be a wonderful experience, but it also comes with higher expectations, accountability, and pressure at times. If those expectations begin to take away a dancer’s personal joy, confidence, or love for dancing, there is absolutely nothing wrong with choosing a path that allows them to simply enjoy dance in a way that feels healthier and more fulfilling for them. Recreational weekly classes are just as valuable, and every dancer’s journey and goals may look different.

 

Because of the level of commitment involved, becoming part of our company program requires teamwork and dedication from both dancers and their families alike.
