Ashley grew up dancing as a part of a drill team in Shreveport, Louisiana.  She spent seven years performing and marching in parades travelling all over Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri.  Ashley danced as a part of a high kick line in high school and college. 

 

Ashley moved to Delaware in 2004 and started coaching a youth cheer team for in Dover in 2007.  By 2012, her team was blessed with winning the Pop Warner National Cheer title at Walt Disney World.  Through her time as a coach, Ashley discovered her passion for working with children.

Currently, Ashley works as a Manager at Siemens Healthineers leading a team of Engineers and Scientists who provide expert support to Clinical Laboratories globally.  Outside of work, Ashley also enjoys volunteering with the Kids Ministry at LifeHouse Church and spending time with her 3 children.  She is overjoyed with the opportunity to be a part of the Illumination Dance family where she hopes to encourage the students to build confidence in not only in their skills, but also in expressing their love for themselves and dance.
